Circulatory System

In Math today we looked at quadrilaterals. Here are some of our notes:

Quadrilateral
Definition
Example
Rules:
Parallelogram
Quadrilateral with 2 sets of parallel sides
  1. Opposite angles are congruent
  2. Adjacent angles are supplementary (180°)
  3. Area=B x H
Rhombus
parallelogram with 4 congruent sides
  1. Same as all parallelograms
  2. Diagonals form right angles
  3. A=(d1 x d2)/2
Rectangle
Parallelogram with 4 right angles
  1. Same as all parallelograms
  2. A= B x H
Square
Parallelogram with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles
  1. Same as a rhombus
  2. A = B x H or S2
Trapezoid
Quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides
  1. adjacent angles separated by the non parallel sides are supplementary
  2. A= (B1 + B2)/2 x H
We will now start reviewing for our test on Monday.

In Science we talked about our next system: The Circulatory System

Here is our prezi:
