Circulatory System

In Math today we looked at quadrilaterals. Here are some of our notes:

Quadrilateral	Definition	Example	Rules:
Parallelogram	Quadrilateral with 2 sets of parallel sides		Opposite angles are congruent Adjacent angles are supplementary (180°) Area=B x H
Rhombus	parallelogram with 4 congruent sides		Same as all parallelograms Diagonals form right angles A=(d1 x d2)/2
Rectangle	Parallelogram with 4 right angles		Same as all parallelograms A= B x H
Square	Parallelogram with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles		Same as a rhombus A = B x H or S2
Trapezoid	Quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides		adjacent angles separated by the non parallel sides are supplementary A= (B1 + B2)/2 x H
